Great School. Great Principal, staff and teachers. All are motivated, driven and caring people. What a pleasure to know your children are in the company of genuine teachers. You can see the Principal twice a day as he meets virtually every child entering school, and greets them by name. Actually saw him carry the younger kids from cars, into the school when it was snowing a few weeks ago (after he helped shovel the snow). First 2 weeks of school included sailboat and motor boat trip from Bay Head Yacht Club, parade to the beach (with outstanding exhibits and demonstrations at the beach) & a lecture by a Discovery Channel, Marine Biologist. This school is a treasure.

Individualized attention. A top public school that accepts tuition students at an incredibly low price. Great staff and extra programs. Minimum of two class trips per grade level at no additional cost including a three day trip to Boston for all grade 8 students and a three day environmental trip for grade 7. Cutting edge technology with Smart Boards in ALL lower grade classrooms and a true, 24/7 one to one laptop program for grades 6-8. The principal is the best! Caring and professional. An innovative leader.

With class sizes below 10 how can you go wrong? A recent referendum will improve the school's physical plant. Despite the fact that the school does not have a full sized gym, the small class sizes and commaraderie between the students at the small k-8 district are significant offsets. New leadership should make the school even better.
