This school has the smallest class sizes around. My son had 16 in his class and received a lot of individual attention from his teacher. The school has a great deal of technology (interactive white boards and netbooks). The building itself is very modern and every room is airconditioned. We've been very happy with the education my son has received thus far.

Superb school. High quality education; small classes; great teachers, and very supportive community. Great advances in technology, math, literature, and cultural arts. Award winning school: Governor's School of Excellence; NJ Benchmark School; Project Fit America Award; Star School Nomination.

The school concentrates too much on being politically correct and qualified to leave 'no child behind' and not enough time on leaving no child behind. The disciplanry rules are lovely on paper, but enforced haphazardly by adminstration. The lunch rules are restrictive; not enough time is given to exercise and outdoors activities. The middle school is horrible. The children are thrown into a middle school environment in 5th grade with no prior preperation; they are expected to repsond like 13 and 14 yr olds at 10. The middle school teachers are unsupportive and short sighted - except for an admirable few. Mr Phillips; Ms Martin; Mr Hazen. The adminstrative staff should be discarded and a new one put in place. Bullies are allowed to bully without reprisal. The school also does not prepare the children to enter the High School with the same educational level as provided by Bernards Twsp Schools.
