Our children have had great teachers and have thrived academically. The environment is happy and relaxed. School employees know your children by name. The extracurriculars are great and inexpensive. I can't praise SBS enough.

Great school! Pricipal is a very dynamic leader and is doing a fantastic job. Teachers are very responsive and take strong interest in giving a well rounded education.

This is not your ordinary school where you bring your children to learn to read, write and do math. This is a community. It is a place where your child is not a student in a school but a member of a loving and caring community of educators, staff and parents that teach more than just academic skills. They teach pride of community. They celebrate differences. This school is lead by a principal who is dedicated at making sure his children are happy and content. He understands what most schools still need to discover...If children feel good and supported, they will flourish in ways, beyond any parents expectations.

I can not say enough good things about Southern Boulevard. All 3 of my children attended k-3 here. When they needed extra support it was identified early on and I am pleased to say all 3 have been very successful, thanks to a great foundation.

The Southern Boulevard School is outstanding! The biggest factor in our recent move to Chatham was its' school system and we were even happier then we could have ever imagined. Our daughter had a terrific experience in kindergarten this past year. Mr. Pesapane is perfect for early childhood education and everything about SBS is top notch! Unbelievable!

Excellent Teachers, wonderful and helpful staff in the front office. It's a really caring and nurturing place, my kids got all of the extra help they needed.

There are many new inexperienced teachers filling the ranks of highly respected, seasoned teachers - my recent experience proved this schools system in vulnerable to change and a downgrade in ratings. My interaction with the young teachers and principal have been dissappointing.

A warm fuzzy feeling about education is instantly pervasive when you enter this school. People greet you with a smile, and the youngish teaching staff gives the energy that all teachers should have. Ralph P. is a terrific administrator and the school nurse is a loving, caring person who makes you feel safe and secure everyday you send your little one there. I have had two daughter go through Southern Bld. and they have each come out better, stronger kids due to the loving, caring attitude, which includes everyone right to the janitorial staff (way to go Glenn!)

This is a big school for this town but it is excellent. The teachers are great at evaluating the students and providing challenging work and everyone knows everyone. We have loved it and my son has found it to be wonderful.
