This is an amazing school. Let me start by saying that when you enroll your child here, they become part of a family. I grew up in this school and now have chosen to send my children there as well. The education I recieved, and that my children are recieving is far superior to most of the public schools. The teacher/student ratio is lower than the local public schools and allows the teachers to give extra attention to the children. If you want an superior education (both biblical and academic) and great high school preparation this is the school to choose!

I have sent my child here 4 years k-3, finally this year I changed schools. I did not find true Christianity here. What they preach they do not follow. I am highly disappointed with them. They do not respect and encourage high performing children. It appears they purposely penalize their top of class students.

Erial Community Church Christian School (ECCCS) has been a blessing to my family. As a matter of fact, when you enter your children into ECCCS, you join a family. My 3 children all went here. There are no perfect schools, no perfect staff, but the love and concern the teachers and staff have for these children is amazing. The A Beka Book curriculum, that is solely used, is very beneficial. My children learned to read and write cursive at the age of 4. I recommend this school as a definite alternative to public school.

I love the curriculum used at the school, however, there are some things that worry me and make me consider another school for my child. The amount of students per classroom in the lower grades, the behaviors they allow rather than asking the child to be removed from the school. I feel that the school could do a better job. There is no venue for parents to help improve to voice their opinions. It is not the worse place but it could be a lot better. I have to schore low on parent involvement because they do not let us become involved

I have 3 children attending this school. I can't say enough about how happy we are with the education they are getting. It's a small close knit family. God is present in all things the children do. All my kids started in there 3 year old program and just thrived.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
