My daughter attends this school. I was happy to know about all the awards this school got in past. But few months into the reality and there you go - 1. few good teachers; 2. highly undisciplined misbehaving boys and girls full of sarcasm; 3. 99% of students are from Indian sub-continental origin where families are temporary migrants; they compare this school with the schools they have seen back home and find them excellent 4. Parents are least involve with teachers to help the school grow - rather they are focused on their individual kids (read private coaching) 5. you can see out-of-control kids during recess or even during lunch (my daughter came back with bruises 2nd time this year because someone pushed her) 6. have you seen teacher/support-staff screaming/yelling/shouting on top of their voice? 7. AVOID THIS SCHOOL if you want a civilized and well mannered future generation PS: This school had a glorious past but do you care about the past or the future?
Students learning is good, my kids say teachers are good. However some admin/nursing/replacement staff are not up-to standard and not able to contain the bad boys repeatedly ramming into each other and injuring others. My kid hurt badly and others also got hurt due to this. They need to maintain gender sensitivity, avoid supporting bad boys, discipline bad students to keep up the good school environment.
This is a great school in every aspect. My son loves it a lot . can't wait for him to start his 1st grade.
Kennedy Park School was a great school for my daughter. She was there for about an year and I can see a great improvement in her. She also loved her school and her teachers. She did not wanted to leave but for some reason we just had to leave that school district. It's a great school, recently got Blue Ribbon also. The principle, Dr. Mansfield takes special care of all the kids. I wish all the best to the school family.
This is my daughter's Ist year in this school. she is very happy with every aspects of learning. The teachers and staff are excellent.Dr. Mansfield is a great principal. She is excellent in coordination and reaching out to the kids.
