We too had to leave. Nothing but problems with teachers and the principal. It was constant, non-stop problems. We honestly tried everything to work things out. We thought we were doing something wrong. We tried and tried. Then we learned from other parents that they were getting the same treatment. We talked to parents we knew that left the school and their kids are happy and doing well. We tried so hard to work things out but things kept getting weirder and weirder. The teachers are mean to certain students and it depends on who you are. So we left and things are great. We have no complaints now about the school my children are in. Even the lunches are better. I hope parents tell the truth when they leave a review, if you don't know what's going on there, don't say things are OK. That just gives parents false security. Things are very bad there.
Not the way I see it, it's horrible. Took my children out. The lower grades are OK, but the higher grades are really bad. The cafeteria has run out of food several times this year, you must know that. PLEASE don't take my word for it, look at the websites of other Catholic schools in the area. Look at the price to play sports in those schools. Look at how those schools are run, everything is by committee. My children are now in Harding and they love it. We still go to church at St Theresa's, and it's my church since I was a kid, I don't have anymore children in the school and I am glad about that. Do some research and you will see for yourself, I am so sorry to see has far this school has fallen.
My kids are attending STS. I've no complaint with the school at all. I volunteer when I can and my kids love their teachers. I have had nothing but open and productive conversations with the faculty and staff and feel it is a very good school. I'm pretty surprised at the reviews here as I don't see the school as cliquey, nor do I see any singling out of children or negativity where it is not called for.
Excellent school and environment for your children. Great preparation for high school with many students receiving scholarships. It's too bad to see some negative reviews. I believe that some parents simply don't understand that the teachers and administration not only teach academics, they also teach them how to be good citizens. Isn't that one of the things you pay for when you decide on a Catholic education.
another unhappy family leaving. am not happy with the direction of the school under this administration. sad considering it was was a great school.
Not very Christian, the school has gotten away from the teachings of the Lord and now is completely run at the power of the administration. The rules change everyday and the kids are treated based on their parents standing in the community. I had to pull my 3 children out. Some children are singled out and some can do no wrong. Bulling is allowed based on the rules of the administration for that day. Some children will be called to the office and yelled at some will have there behavior squashed.
We can not believe how fast this school went down. Completely about politics now. If you are a friend - bam you get a job in the school. We can not believe that the current leadership is taking the school in the wrong direction.
I am so grateful to this school for all that it offers it's students. It is a warm and loving atmsphere. The academics are challenging. It offers opporunities to participate in many afterschool activities and events. Most of all it is a safe and happy place to learn. The kids are good decent kids.
I have 3 children and all three go to St.Theresa school. I am very happy with this school. I had my children in a previous school and I have noticed they have change for the better
School curriculum is ok - nothing spectacular. Children should be taught languages to prepare for future - not done. Lunches are atrocious - not nutritious. School can be cleaner
