We couldn't be happier at Seashore. The small class sizes and family feel of the school lends itself to a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere where every child is allowed to be who they are. There are no popular kids here....everyone is an equal. The big kids watch out for the little ones- whether it be in the halls or on buses. And the little ones look up to the upper grades with bright eyes and smiles on their faces. And we truly have the best Principal on Earth. She has an Open Door Policy and her door is truly always open. The kids can come in whenever they need and want to- and the parents are welcome to as well. She knows everything about every child and she loves, supports and encourages them as if they were her own. Although my son leaves home every day to go to school, I know that he always at home at Seashore.
As a parent I am greatful that my childrens mom found SeaShore. The education is truely been acceptional. Both my son and daughter have been there since pre-k and they are growing up to be outstanding young people. Whenever extra attention has been needed they have received it. Unlike many private schools in the area it is not the least bit stuffy. I can sum it up by saying I am very proud that my children attend Sea Shore.
The Seashore School offers an exceptional education with many opportunities for students to expand their horizons, develop new skills and be part of a family environment where lasting friendships form and there is strong sense of belonging. Students can play on championship teams, perform in musicals, write for the school's award-winning newspaper or do it all. The approach to education is so successful, most score in the top percent in standardized exams, win academic competitions, are recognized nationallly for achievement and gain acceptance to the high schools of their choice including career academies.
