Have you discussed this with your son's pediatrician? It may just be that your son is a very deep sleeper, and if so, some of the bed-wetting alarms may still not wake him, but products like that do help some children. You may also want to curtail your son's drinking/snacking in the hour or two before his bedtime, and then wake him up right before you go to sleep for the night, and have him empty his bladder. In any casse, it may be best to ask the doctor for a referral to a urologist, just to ensure that there is no physical reason why your son is having a difficult time.34713
I've found that monitoring their drinking of fluids prior to bed time really helps and to cover yourself, waking them at or around 2am or 3am really, really helps. Thats typically when we're all in a pretty deep sleep and perhaps the child doesn't feel the alarm to go potty. So, waking them will help.34712
My sons wet the bed sometimes until they were 11 and 12. It happens. If you don't want it to happen, try to restrict what he drinks after 6 in the evening. Also wake up him at 11 or before you go to bed, and have him go to the bathroom one more time. Restricting their liquids after six and waking them up before 11 to go to the bathroom helped us have dry nights. 34711
First discuss this with his doctor. There are some medications that can cause this problem as it makes them sleep heavy, and then there are some medications that can help with this problem so check with his pediatrician. This is the first step, aside from limiting fluids before bedtime, having him use the BR before bed.34710
