I love the school. My son started last year as a Kindergartener, now he is in 1st grade. He adores his teachers. They recognized that he was more advanced and were willing to give him individualized attention and work. They were very attentive and creative. My son really feels that he's a part of the Arleth family.
In 2004 Arleth might have been a good school, but since they got a new Principal it has gone way down hill. Most new teachers are straight out of college with little or no experience. They need to start teaching to learn again instead of focusing on State testing. Parents are not as involved as they used to be due to low moral. Extracurricular activities are limited and mostly involve State testing exercises.
My child had an excellent education and experience at Arleth. The teachers all go out if their way to help and the pta is tops. Great school. We will miss it very much.
