This is an excellent school. Very dedicated teachers and principal. Academics, sports program and extracurricular activities are great. It is also financially affordable. But most importantly, the emphasis they place on God and teaching children to grow spiritually is outstanding.

This school is the best in all areas of academics. Sports are the best in the school they do not pick and choose who is the best, they let all students play and learn the sports. Where public schools pick and choose from the best and the not so talented. Parsippany trains their students to be more christ-like and in their daly walk everyday with our Lord Jesus Christ. How all teachers are a good testimony for our Lord. If, you do not want your child to learn the Love and the kindness of our Lord and Savior then Parsippany Christian School is not for your child. But, if you would like for them to Learn more of our Savior and become a testimony for our Lord Jesus Christ then Parsippany Christian School is for your child.

This school is amazing! Don't listen to the negativities about this school, because those people do not know what they are talking about. We are not legalistic. We have high standards because our God is a holy and just God and NO ONE can measure up to his standards. Sure, we have to tuck in our shirts, but that doesn't diminish the teaching at our school. The teachers are there for the students. Seriously, it's not a wealthy job to have, but the reason why the teachers there are there for the students. They want to help each and every student to grow in God and find out what God's will is for our lives. It's an AWESOME school.
I love this school! It is an amazing school for so many reasons. The ciricullum is great! We use BJU, ABEKA, Saxon Math, and a few more. We have amazing achievment test ranks. The teachers are AWESOME! They are completely dedicated to the students and the school. They love all the students and do their best to teach us well. If we ever have a problem or don't understand something, we can ask them for help and they'll tell us to go to their room at a designated time and they'll help us. No one else will be there either so your total attention is on the academics. They also have good sports times. We have soccer, basketball, volleyball, and softball/baseball. I personally like how they have a Christian perspective for everything. In all the subjects they include God. It can be just the teacher adding it or the textbooks.

I would highly recommend PCS for Christian families. The elementary school is first class starting in Pre-K through 5th grade and the teachers are dedicated and loving. The academics taught are the traditional 3R's with a Biblical emphasis woven throughout each subject. The students test higher than children from public schools in all grades. The Jr High & High School are also outstanding with teachers who care about the kids and do an excellent job of teaching, particuarly in math, science and history. The school is run with loving discipline and the behavior of the students shows respect for teachers and the rules. The sports program and extra activities all promote a family atmosphere and I love having all of my children together in the same school.

I am a former student and I would definitely recommend attending PCS. I had great teachers who not only taught me the subjects, but also made me think, not just memorize information. I realize that it's a little cramped sometimes but the quality of education and caring teachers are totally worth a little crowding. I had no problems getting into a good college and was ahead of many of my classmates in writing and learning how to study for tests. PCS is a great school with a very dedicated faculty.

I attended this school from 7th-12th grades. I strongly urge parents to look into other Christian Schools in the area (e.g.Hawthorne) even if it is a bit further. PCS is a legalistic, extreme environment with a very poor curriculum. Even with above avg SAT scores (I took an outside study course) and supplemental classes at CCM, I found it difficult to get into a decent college. The Christian position taught here is judgmental and guilt-ridden. I feel that I missed out on any positive high school experiences by attending this school.

I love this school! I'm 9th grade student there and have been going there since PreK! the atmosphere between stuent and teacher is great and the teachers always have a Bibical reason for the way they run they're classrooms. the Bibical knowledge is great (we learn about the bible in evey subject and most of the time the teacher is the one who is telling us this and not the textbooks, even though the textbooks do tell us). the sports programs are always focus around God first, not just winning which sometimes we do. the acdamics are always focus around glorifying God first, not just oursleves. I love this school so much that I want my future kids to go there and teach there as a junior high/ high school teacher for history and literature.

As a past student of PCS, I can tell you PCS teaches children rules and not a relationship with God or to think for themselves. The ciriculum is lacking greatly. For example, the English ciriculum teaches diagraming up until 12th grade. It focuses little on relevant literature or writing.
Wow, hard to sum up PCS in 150 words! - hot lunch available every day if you want - Pre-K to Grade 12 under one roof (no more running to 3 different schools to pick up your kids) -Excellent athletics; attached gymnasium; Varsity & JV sports teams that compete & travel -Excellent band and choir (elementary too!) -Bible-based Curriculum: Bob Jones University, ABEKA, Saxon Math, etc. -Cozy class sizes & dedicated teachers take extra time to talk to parents and help students -Family atmosphere: from Principal Thibault on down everybody knows your name and treats you like a friend - Well-planned special events: Science Fair, Banquets, concerts, plays, holiday boutique, etc. -Tuition assistance & discounts for more than one student in a family - People of different races, church denominations, and incomes; but no 'hoity toity' snobs; all are equally welcome - Very reasonable, practical uniforms and you can pick from several different color combinations; free used uniform exchange Great school!

Our son has been going here for about 2 years and we like it so far. The classrooms are a little cramped, but they're talking about adding on. The teacher has been very patient with him as he has some special needs and they do get outside help for special needs students. I like that they have band available starting in fourth grade. One thing that stinks is you have to drive your kids to school, but you might get money from your local school district if your kids normally would take a bus. There are uniforms, but they look pretty nice and they're not too expensive. I like the fact that they pray at the beginning of the day and that lots of the subjects have a Biblical theme in them (even the science and history). I don't like the new handwriting style they're teaching. It's not how we learned.

It is a small school running from PK- Grade 12 with a solid Christian base. The teacher turnover rate in the school is very low. Due to the space limit, there is only one class in each grade. Some of the grades has big class size(normally they have an aide for a bigger class). They have very good musical training from PK to 12 Grade. The big drawback for me is that they have no school bus and you would have to provide your own transportation arrangement.

My son is currently in his second year at PCS. We as parents couldn't be happier with the quality of his education along with the Godly structure and dicipline he has received. He is happy about his school and we have no problem getting a first grader up at 6:10 in the morning in order to get to school on time, we travel apx 26 miles to this school.
