Kennedy is a diverse middle school located in a closely knit community. The staff goes above and beyond to help ensure student success. The school also offers before and after school tutoring as well as many other programs for student success

I find the principal at this school so very unprofessional. She has managed to make very good students hate to come to school. She has lied in front of the children and she has not protected the children at all. She has allowed several incidents to go un touched.

KMS has come along way from the 'bad rep' they once had. Even with the lack of guidance from administration the staff continues to support students and parents. the school is comprised of teachers who care and want to make a difference. Discipline continues to be an issue but not the one it once was. District training continues to take the teachers out of the classroom.

KMS Educators seem to be more interested in the test scores and not in the overall welfare of the chidren. They also have no uniform regulations for themselves thru the APS teachers contract. Both are mistakes in my opinion. Poor leadership from the top down along with average counselors lead to higher than average violence among students which leads poor learning conditions.

Kennedy has a diverse population and is a PTA Middle school. The teachers want to be there which in turn makes Kennedy a great place to learn. The administration is striving to be parent friendly. The staff is ready to go the extra mile for the students. There all kinds of wonderful after school programs. MESA, Student Council, afterschool sports, tutoring and much more.
