The school didn't make AYP this year or last year and it may shut down. After kindergarten, your child can look forward to burned out teachers and lack of leadership make homeschooling or private school the best options. From PES, the kids go on to Bernalillo Public Schools for 6th grade which is even worse.
I am very impressed with this school. They have small class sizes and continue to challenge both of my children.
I am somewhat disappointed in this school as I have 3 small kids attending. My kids do not have homework and I do not see a vast improvement in studies.
