Students are well cared for. Much of the staff uses free time to try to improve the quality of education. Even the special class teachers (gym, music, library) come to meetings on how to improve academics. There is no art class, but the gym, music and library classes are high quality. Parent involvement is high for the area, but low when compared to the rest of the country. Teacher education and certification is on a higher level than the rest of the district. An after school program is available for students who are struggling. Basketball and track are available for 5th graders.
they have quality education and good parent involvement but sport and extracurricular activities is limited.
