I am currently a student at Belleville-Henderson Central School, and i personally think it is amazing. The teachers are very encouraging and you realize how much you have in common with them. With such a small school you know practically everyone at the school. With small classes you get more hands on privileges. It is a wonderful learning opportunity.

I went to this school from kindergarten to 3rd grade and i loved this school. All the teachers cared very much about me and i always did well. The school has many after school activities the band was great and i always enjoyed listening to the chorus. The school might be smaill but it still offered much learning oppurtunities.

While this school offers some excellent teachers and a few good oppurtunities, overall the quality of education avaible is dismal. There are many burnt-out, unproffesional, and uncaring teachers. There are few extracurricular activites available as well. One of the biggest problems at this school is favoritism. Students whose parents grew up in the district tend to be treated better, as do those who live in Belleville. Also, many teachers show favoritism towards the more athletic individuals. Brown-nosing is not only rewarded, but encouraged. Students who are related to staff members are also likely to receive special treatment. If you are planning on moving to the area, I would reccomend living in either the Sandy Creek, Sackets Harbor,or South Jefferson school district as these are all superior schools and have much more to offer to your child.
