I was extremely two minded about this school, because of the lack of parents participation my child is now in 7 grade, their are strict rules. However with that being said its a very good school academically and would get your child where he or she need to be. They do not offer any clubs or arts or music programs. However they do have enrichment programs where the enrichment is chosen for the child. They have a very rich culture. My child is happy their for the most part. They have a few hiccups along the way but its a good school. Friendly staff and teachers will notify you if your child has missing homework or would even call you. They also have demerits or merits culture a certain amount of merits will sometimes earn the students a dress down day or prizes. They also have end of year trips where the kids go camping and have tidlewave where they get to unwind a bit. Most of the staff their a very nice including the principal and there are always someone to meet the children and greet them every morning. The strict environment is not for everyone thou. I may not agree with many things and their policies but its a good school.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.

The NYC Department of Education asked parents, teachers and students about their school's learning environment. Results provide insight into school climate, such as whether the school is academically rigorous, safe, communicative and collaborative. Learn more

The information captured by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn. An overall category score is calculated for each respondent group (parents, teachers, or students) by averaging the scores of the questions within that survey category.

Category scores for each of the respondent groups are then combined to form overall category scores. Alongside the results for each school are the aggregated results across all NYC public schools, which are provided as a basis for comparisons.
