My son has attend this school from their 2's program and now entering Pre-K (including summer camp) and I have had an excellent experience with them! My son has flourished and learned so much there. The staff and teachers are caring, loving and vested in the success of each child. My son's teacher Teyana Smith (or as my s on calls her, Ms. Smith) and the Director Sophia Francis have been very supportive and excellent educators. I am a very involved parent and they are always there to answer any questions. The school communicates very clearly their upcoming activities, events and school meetings. They hold several extracurricular activities to involve the children and parents in music, dance and arts. I love that they receive homework almost every day, it helped me support his curriculum at home. My son has received speech therapy through DOE at the school and they were very accommodating and welcoming of his therapy services. I highly recommend this school to all parents of Brooklyn. They are very affordable and provide an excellent level of education and safety while making class fun!

I would not recommend this school to anyone. The grade school is not up to acceptable standards. For the price that we are charged our children should be more advanced in education. The school is over priced and the staff is rude. Not the best choice educational wise.

CECC has been instrumental in guiding and teaching my child as well as other children. The school and staff go above and beyond to help all children to succeed. For example, the teachers from 3rd-5th grades would work extra hours with the children who are preparing for the state exam. Most of the children receive a well rounded education and are usually very successful when they leave this school.

Do not send your child to this school. I wish I was able to give the graduating class of 2013 a proper graduation. They took parents money for graduation dues to sponsor their 30year in business anniversary. Graduation was 4 hours long about their ghetto establishment and not about the graduating class. The kids had to listen through to too many politicians what a horrible graduation with money. The parents paid for a dinner after graduation for our family and the staff packed our food away for themselves. If you love your child find another school

I guess like anything in life...all good things come to an end. When my family became apart of the CECC family it was such a pleasure and as the years went by the quality went down with it. They made a horrible decision at the end of the school term 2012-2013 which may have caused them to shoot a hole in their pockets. They prepared packets for the children to work on over the summer to "bring them up to speed" are you serious? I paid for my child for the entire year and my child is not up to speed, why is that? Are you planning on reimbursing me some of my money as I go over school work with my child over the summer that I paid YOU to do? The administration needs development and training on professionalism!!cause currently they running the school right into the ground. Continue to look elsewhere this is not the school for your child that you love and is willing to sacrifice for.

Both my girls still attend CECC and i must say educational, the school goes above and beyond. The teachers are great, i find the school lacks space. Space for a proper library, computer room with computers that works. Overall, i give the school a 7 out of 10 score because when you spend money, you need to get more not just academics but other stuff that makes a school outstanding and competitive.

My 4year old son currently attends pre-k at the Bedford Avenue location and I can confidently say, "he's is learning at an above average pace". They are using kindergarden level textbooks. Ms. Johnson and Ms. Charles are courteous and professional at all times. The children are given well balanced meals that even parents would enjoy:) The summer camp program is fun, my son looks forward to attending. I highly recommmend CECC to parents who are looking for an affordable private school with a solid education.

Please do not send your kids here. Not to the daycare and not to the after school program or camp. This place has a bad reputation among the intellectual for a reason. However, the openminded person I am, I decided to give this place a chance, but sadly, all my suspicions turned out to be true. This place couldn't care less about you or your kids. They hire the youngest, cheapest, laziest, most inexperienced and immature staff who can barely put a sentence together, in fact, they have the worst possible "ghetto" speech. Whenever you have the smallest concern they will start a ghetto fight with you, because that's all they are capable of. The so called "director" is a lazy ghetto bum who will never communicate with anyone, the only thing she'll do, is start a fight, when you come with an issue. Don't get fooled by any well written letters or statements from this place, they hire a writer to do that stuff since they are uncapable of it themselves. I gave this place a chance, and it turned out to be a big mistake. Don't do it. If you want your kid to learn more than a few curse words, look elsewhere.

My son attended the Bedford Avenue location of this school from 2.5 years to age 3, and within that short space of time his development and learning sky-rocketed. He loved going to school, and I felt at ease leaving him daily in the care of his teachers. His teachers were attentive, friendly, well-trained and so nurturing. It was truly a sad day for my family when we had to relocate and find a new school. In addition, the school's education director (Ms. Johnson) and Ms. Charles who manged the administrative needs, were exceptional professionals. I give CECC the highest rating possible and would recommend this school to everyone.

My son has been attending CECC since the age of 3. I am very pleased with the program and I believe the teachers truly care about my son's development. I am happy and comfortable with her and my son will continue at this school until completion of Kindergarten.

My daughter has attended CECC since the age of 2. I am very pleased with the service and believe that my daughter is receiving a well-rounded education. She is now 4 years old and their emergent literacy program is amazing. She has begun reading and her father and I are really... excited about her progress. We will continue to send our daughter to this school and all subsequent children. We do believe that CECC provides a great academic foundation as well as the directors are very approachable and accessible. I highly recommend this institution.

I was quite disappointed with the physical layout of this school. The learningareas are small and not well kept. The Pre-K class downstair is drafty. If you are looking for a quality educational setting for you children, I would recommend that you look elsewhere.
