the teachers are absolutely wonderful with the children. the amount of care and attention they give to their students is truly remarkable! also, the students respond very well to the staff and the cirriculum of the program.
We are a great school because we cater to the developmentally disabled. All of our teachers really care about the children and the work they do. This is evident not only in visiting the school, but the fact that many of our teachers have remained at Catherine Laboure for more than 10 years.
Catherine Laboure is a home away from home for children with special needs. I am a former teacher in this program and firmly beleive that the love and nurturing the children receive from the staff and other families is the best gift life has to offer. The children are not only educated to their highest ability, but they gain a second family in the staff. This school deserves to win!! The money will be put to great use for the children!
The teachers make it so special & eneficial to the children
We by far are the most tight knit collaborating staff by far! We strive for success in meeting our students' needs! In the past 5 years I see and hear nothing but thanks and appreciation from our students' and parents'.
I have been employed at the Catherine Laboure Special Education Program for 10 years now and I can honestly say that I love my job. I love my coworkers and most of all I love my students. I can always count on someone at work to make me smile. My students are amazing and anything I can do for them I will : )
Our school is a loving, nurturing enviornment which educated students with cognitive disabilities as well as students with learning disabilities. We sincerely strive to help all students realize their potential as students and human beings and love to see our young people blossom, going on to live loves of dignity.
