Poor performing school. The guidance counselor is terrible! She's very rude to the kids. I doubt her competence in guiding the children she oversees. I would not send my kids to this school!
Most caring staff and community I have ever experienced. This school offers SO many programs for their students. I hope to stay in this community for the rest of my kids schooling.
Also, the first report cards don't come out until January! Why so late? I also feel like the teachers do not pay attention to the individual children. When I read the report cards I'm always wondering if they are rating the right child. Careless mistakes all the time and poor communication is rampant at this school.
I went to RCS as a child but now that my son is attending the school district and he is in special education, I have been greatly disappointed in the district as a whole, teachers, bus drivers and aids, right down to the principals are not understanding or shall I say trained well enough to deal with children whom have more needs then the rest of the school population. My son is now in Bethlehem school district and they are GREAT!
I have had two children attend this school and both have received excellent educations. You get back what you put in. We have found the teachers and administrators to be dedicated, responsive and professional. There are a wide variety of programs from remedial to programs for gifted and talented students. After school activities include a homework club and art club, as well as many opportunities offered yearly, such as Literacy Night, The Fall Festival and a New Years Eve Party offered the weekend after the New Year begins. We love this school and will miss it next year when our youngest enters middle school. It has a small, private school feel without the tuition!
this school would be a great school if the administration would listen to what the parents and the doctors and other developmental specialists has to say. And do what they say and help the kids so they don't get behind on youru child loves sports this is a great school district. Cause they loves sports here. But don't move here if your child has a need ( like p.t., o.t, special ed. Cause they will have a hard time getting it...
