Glad LT has changed since the one parent wrote in (2006). Class sizes are 21/22 kids at the most. I find this school EXCELLENT! I have only been involved in this school for two years now, and cannot be happier. The teachers have my utmost respect. The volunteers are wonderful. A very family oriented feeling when you walk into this school. Could not be happier.

I am very dissappointed with the principal of this school. School is good, but leadership of the principal is lacking in lots of areas.

Reading the review of the last parent, my daughter is in 1st grade, and has not been in a class bigger then 21 kids. Her teacher is great and very approachable, i dont know the new principal but she seems like she is doing a great job.

The class size reported on internet was incorrect, and much larger. 27 and 28 children respectively. They have no field trips this year 05-06(misappropriation of funds). I found the Principal is approachable and nice. New to school following in the footprints of a well loved principal. Overall friendly environment. I have third and fifth grade children. Not doing cartwheels over either teacher. My son is bored and the teacher response was to send home more homework. Not happy with education. Especially weak emphasis on science and math (5th grade). They stress passsing state standardized testing. I do feel there are some really fantastic teachers here. I heard great things from parents of lower grade students. My kids were in public schools in De prior. Those schools get such a bad rap I thought Ny would be a better education, not so. Awesome opportunities for extracirricular activities. Big parental involvement.
