My child has gone to this school for 7 years! I think this is a great school. There are many school activities to attend and the teachers are so nice.

Beverly J. Martin is an excellent school. You can not judge a school by the outcome of one year's state exams, especially since the size of BJM's classrooms can be as little as 11 pupils. If you were to get 2 A's anf 2 F's, you would merely be breaking average. The smaller the classroom, the less data to be included for a comprable comparison to other schools in the district. It was only a couple of years ago when BJM was the 'top in the district' with test scores. WE were also regarded as the 'most improved' school in the district which I think says more than the scores themselves. We hope to be on top once again. Our faculty, staff and children are wonderful! When comparing the 2004 exams, take into consideration the class size and that 1/3 of the children tested were from other schools originally.

BJM is an excellant elementary school. I have three children who attended. Two children have graduated and now attend Dewitt Middle School. They have attended the after school program and did very well. They also have taken music lessons anddo very well. The older children are still doing well with their instrument.
