Yeshiva University High School1

this school does nothing to support the majority of its students. If your child is in the honors program, great, all others fall by the wayside. CB Neugroschl is not a great administrator and to quote one of the teachers, the school runs in spite of her, not because of her. There are some excellent teachers, but the majority are lacking. I would think twice before you send your daughter. When a student asked the guidance counselor what she should look for when visiting colleges, she was told a chabad house. This is not the Yeshiva University standards I grew up with and had when I attended the school. I have no idea what this school is becoming, but it's not good. SKA is a much better option, academically and religiously.
Central is a great school. My daughter is very happy there. The school is not that large so the students get more individualized attention. Once you see the school you will instantly fall in love with it.
This is a school where favoritism is rampant. Money and connections are valued above all else. Education is secondary. While there are several good teachers in the school they are overshadowed by the awful dinosaurs which the school refuses to let go. The biggest problem with the school, however, is its lack of leadership, provided by a principal with no concern for the students' well-being. I would caution any parent that before sending their daughter to this institution.
