Wonderful school. Individualized attention, caring teachers. Mrs. Liptak is dedicated to the success of this school and our children. My children have attended OLP for three years. Check out the Business First rankings.

Our Lady of Pompeii in Lancaster is an amazing school. Our children have attended OLP for 4 years now, and we are constantly impressed with the caliber of education. Under the outstanding direction of Ms. Diane Liptak, Pompeii has become a force to be reckoned with. Students receive individual attention every single day in an OLP classroom - and the results are amazing! OLP has quickly climbed the Business First Rankings into the top 10% - and this year we were listed in the Top 5 Elementary Schools to Watch based on our impressive progress! OLP has everything your child needs to thrive - Art, Music, Technology (smart boards!), Spanish (in 1st Grade!), Drama Club, community service and competitive team sports from K - 8. From the buddy system where younger students are paired up with older "mentor" students, to the 8th grade cooperative ed program with Saint Mary's HS, OLP has it all - and then some! OLP also offer the LOWEST tuition of any private school in the area, multi-child discounts and a great latch-key program. Sending our children to OLP was the best decision we ever made - stop by and ask Miss Diane for a tour of our amazing "Little School That Could"!

As a graduate of the school and older sister to a current 8th grade student, I personally can speak to how great a school OLP is. During my time there, I loved it. The teachers made me want to learn. The small classes also help a lot with one on one help during class and in a way each grade becomes its own little family. During my last year there I had the opportunity to take a freshman level Math A course, which my sister does now. That, along with the amazing teachers I had at OLP and the activities I was involved with through the school prepared me for high school. I can see it in my sister as she prepares to end her time at OLP, that she is ready to move on and she has the skills to do so. I highly reccomend this school.

Pleasant surprise is the best way to describe OLoP. My 3 yr old attends pre-k there twice a week and I am amazed at the attention the teachers give. We have attended a number of events with older children and the respect they exhibited was impressive. Pompeii may not have all the fancy bells and whistles that some public schools have but it creates a solid Catholic foundation and a great learning atmosphere that will stick with my child for the rest of his school life

My son and our family love the school. I recommend everything. He is in the first grade with one of the best teachers I have ever seen. My sisters are very impressed with the quality of the education and they are both public school elementary teachers. The fact that he has been involved sports this early in school is awesome. The parents are as involved as they want to be. Some more than others. I like that I am able to attend the school mass on Friday mornings. I like that I can go and have lunch with my child if I want. All the teachers have a true love for the children. The principal is very approachable and open to ideas. She maintains a strict loving atmosphere. The church is very supportive of the school and there are a lot of new programs being offered. I Love the School.

My son is in the pre-k program, and we love all of the fun things that Miss Barbara does in her classes...a lot of experiments that really peak our sons curiosity.

This school does not have many good things in it. First of all the lunches are poor quality, including the so called 'pizza' and the macaroni and cheese is like glue. Many of the floors are dirty, and there used to be a hole in the wall in the seventh grade room. There are so many things left to explain.

I think there is a general lack of understanding from the teachers...at times a class must be restructured to the students needs..this is never addressed...Teachers need not be so aloof. Listen to the students. They can help you understand where they need help.
