y children attend St. Rose and receive an outstanding, rigorous education. As an education professional I understand the critical elements to academic success and have full confidence that the instruction balanced by the community environment is the very best combination for my children's futre. As a parish school there is a strong sense of community and a solid foundation of faith. I could not be more pleased and my children feel happy, loved and confident at St. Rose.

As a parent of a student at St. Rose of Lima, I offer the following advice: 1) Please, please, please do away with the bull horns every morning. It's a demeaning and depressing way for young children to start each day!! 2) Please invest in safe area where the kids can play! For those of you who don't know, the students are forced to play on the blacktop and cement in the parking lot, which often results in falls, scrapes, blood, bruises, etc; 3) Please start language classes before 6th grade. Surrounding schools start foreign languages (a staple of a superior education much earlier than the 6th grade); 4) Please expand the after school clubs and choices. For example, St. Rose does not offer a chess club or other clubs that surrounding schools offer. If the School starts with these four suggestions, it will be well on its way towards competing with superior schools in the area.

We have gym, art, music, band, learning center, library, computer lab, and spanish.Im in eighth grade now, and am so sad that my years here are coming to an end. I will truly miss everyone in the St Rose family..

As a Teacher myself I knew what I was looking for when I began my Catholic School Open House week a few years back. After being a part of this school for the past few years I can say that I bad the best decision. What an awesome school! There is a beautiful computer lab as well as learning center, great after school enrichment classes, wonderful, attentive Teachers, awesome Principal and so much more. I am so happy I was able to get my children in.

St Rose is the best school ou can send your child to with in massapequa/massapequa park! Sr. Kathleen is the best principle and knows every single childs name new to the school or if he/she been there before. The teachers are extremely nice and are always willing to give extra help if you are struggling in a subject. The music/band is outrageus and if you have been to one of our two concerts each year, you know how spectacular it is!

I have a son that attended st rose and a girl also and i am very displeased at the fact that my son was treated unfairly and my daughter not even recived a talk to her. My daughter is mosre talkative than my son and she tells me that she feels bad for the boys because it is very unfair for them. When a girl talks the boys get blamed for it. If you have a girl this is a great school for her. If you have a boy be ready for tht 'i got a detention for doing the samething the girls were doing at the same time.'

St. Rose is one of the best schools on long island. The principal knows every child by name and she interacts with. This is my daughters last year and I will miss everyone. I am as lucky as she is to have met the most wonderful people.

My daughters went to this school from nursery to 2nd grade. They received an excellent religious & academic education. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule, They needed to leave. If I could, I would enrolled them again. I strongly recommend this school.
