Our school is a safe place where the kids are learning how to be good citizens while also learning skills that they will use for the rest of their lives, also the teachers there are very caring and capable of doing their job.

My son is in 5th grade at the Earth School. He has had a wonderful experience throughout the whole years at this school. He has developed holistically as a person, in academics, artistically and socially. Every day he is looking forward to go to school because the environment is so great.

The Earth School is child-centered, theme-based, and parent involved. My daughters run to school every morning!

The Earth School treats all kids as individuals!

My daughter entered the Earh School after a trying 3 years at district 3's P.S.9. Although P.S.9 has a great reputation as far as academics, it is greatly lacking in everything else. Its all test prep. The Earth School on the other hand was a god send. They teach your children how to learn,(sounds funny right? ) they support them in all aspects of life and furthermore they teach them how to embrace community dispite color race and every hing else that seems to seperate us in this world we live in today. this school would rate a 10 if they had the monitary support they needed. As a district 1 alternative school, everyone is in the school by choice. The mission is far reaching, but exemplary. The academics are taught in engaging ways, with more stress on individual improvement than testing or comparative scores. Parent involvement is probably second to none, with full time access and invitation to participate.
