Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

This school is a great school. It teaches our children to learn many things that they thought were boring, but now that we know about P.S. 152 they can discover something new and fun at school.

My child has attended PS 152 for the past 2 years. I see teachers not challenging the students who know the material inside out. Also, teachers do not use suphisticated vocabulary which may enhance and expand children's vocabulary. Not much extra curriculum either.

My son started his Kindergarten school year here. The school has an excellent dual language program. The new K teacher was great. For us the school lacked in areas such as outside play space. They have a yard but Kindergarten and 1st grade do not have access to it. I found the breakfast/lunch volunteers to be to strict with the Kindergarten children. My son received a dance movement class once a week but we never saw anything related to music or art... or maybe we did not stay long enough.

My son has 2 years attending this school. The teachers really work with the students and parents. They also offer the students a variety of extracurricular activities such as baseball, tutoring, etc. I would definately recommend this school to parents who don't have sufficient funds to put their child in a private school.

My daughter goes to p.s 152 and the class seems wonderful I like that they have a dual language program which children can learn Spanish as well as English. Would love to see more extracurricular activities and music programs besides violin.

My daughter has attended P.S. 152 since the first grade. The school basically focuses on the level the kids are preforming, I see no incentive to push the kids to a highter level. They basically work around what they have to maintain the average level. The older the teacher is the less patience they have. This year P.S. 152 have several teachers from the west coast briging a new positive outlook and new ideas to the school system. The after school program is great. They interact with other kids, and they rotate activity clubs giving them a chance to try different activities.
