I couldn't agree with the first reviewer more. Transferred from a top rated NJ school, and am very impressed with the quality of the entire staff that they have here. The students succeed and are proud of themselves and their achievements. It seems like the school is equally proud. They seem to really know how to inspire the students to try their hardest and give their all.
Our family has only lived in the Newark Valley School District for 2 years now. My only fear when we moved was that the school wouldn't be up to par to the other schools in the city. But was I wrong. My child is in the Middle School and wants to go to school everyday, and has been on the honor roll ever since we moved. Not at our other school. The NVMS encouraged my child to play an instrument and also be in the Choir and compete on a county level. Which made me and my husband very proud. Seeing what the NVMS has done for my child, I am pleased.
