Parliament Place is a great school. My son started in the 1st grade and he had multiple tantrums and wasn't working up to par with the other kids. His 1st grade teacher (Mrs Ivy) and principal immediately started to explore options to correct the problem. They never made me feel like a bad parent. I felt like I had a huge support system behind me. I absolutely love the fact that his teacher takes the time to write us a note when he is good, of course we get bad notes too but it makes him so happy when he gets a good note. Luckily, only a few months later, my son is able to read and spell. He brings home a perfect score on all his spelling tests. The performance evaluation lets me know clearly how much improvement has been made percentage wise. I love this school but most of all, I love the faculty and staff who are so warm and loving. Go Parliament!!!

My children all go to Parliament and it is a great school. The teachers are so wonderful. Like all schools some are better than others. Mrs. Kuchta is missed but the school still looks good.

My son's sucess is without a doubt owd to Parliament Place School. In fact, from Kindergarten my son was set up with the right tools and put on the right track. Specifically want to thank Ms. Grube who I understand has married since and I believe is now Mrs. Rodrigues. She is nurturing yet strict, fun but will work you child hard. My son was not happy going to school at first, but by the third week, you had to see his disappointment whne Saturday mornings he could not go to school. If you asked him who his mom was, he would say he had two, my second mom is my Ms. Grube. He went into 1st grade more than prepared and has had a love for learning that I can honestly attribute to Ms. Grube (Mrs. Rodrigues). We're proud of all of the Parliament Place teachers. Thank you!

It must be said that Parliament Place is the greatest school. This schools greatness is owed to the drive and passion of the whole staff; this includes the teachers to the staff in the health office and especially the principal Mrs. Kuchta (we will miss her!) The atmosphere, the help and the love that the every person gives to the students is what makes this elementary school and safe environment. As a soon to be teacher it would definitely be an honor to teach in this school.

Parliament place is a great school. The teachers are well trained and they welcomed parent input. They do understand parent role as primary educator. The school Principal is a role model of what a great leader should be. She has genuine love for the children and respect for the profession. She welcomed parent input and never get intimidated by a well informed parent.

This is really a great school. The parents really get involved and the teachers encourage working closely with them. They are very approachable and use positive reinforcement to encourage the kids.

There is a great stress on family involvement in the children's progress. The teachers are great and extend their help to all. They are open to feedback from the parents which is a definite plus. After all, teaching does not end in the classrooms.
