My children are doing well there. The teachers in 6th grade are Excellent! They enjoy school. The only problem I have is the extracurricular activities are poor.

I have five children and all five attended Pawling for Elementary, Middle and High school Only now do we realize after moving out of the district how really poor the overal quality of education was at Pawling. There was focus on 'athletics' and little or no focus on the children's education. I attended the board of education meetings. I would urge anyone who was thinking of sending their children there to attend these meetings as they reflect the overal 'lack'. We moved out of that district primarily due to the school and we just moved in 2004! music is for a 'select' few. little attention to the individual child. the school has taught me not to take anything that is said by any of the school officials as really 'in the best interests' of YOUR child.
