my daughter has been sent home for the 2nd time with possible pinkeye, this time her eyes are perfectly white and clear. My wife must call into work tomorrow for an un-necessary dr. visit and we will most likely have to use un-necessary medicated drops. the kid was tired and rubbing her eyes. I am very dissapointed with this inconvienience

I am very satisfy with the school and staff. I have 2 children in school and have been great experience so far. My kids all love going to school and my son has been doing great in all state exams. very proud of teachers and staff for my kids excell in school. Parents are asked to participate in school activies and trips which help build bond with school. I am pleased with this school very much.

I am so pleased with this school. They focus on teaching your child to think and problem solve instead of focusing on memorizing and reciting information. The teachers are fabulous and dedicated to helping your child succeed, both academically and emotionally. Parents are encouraged to participate in activities and build a strong partnership with the school.

PBE has been a great experience for both my children. They have excelled in many subjects. As for the staff I give them an A+ for their great work. In this school you have parents who get involved in every way they can help. So thanks PBE for everything.

I have a son currently in Kindergarten at PBE. I cannot say enough about how much he loves school and his teacher, TA, Art & Music teachers!! I have to say I feel the same way myself. You cannot find a more nurturing, caring staff anywhere. And he is learning and advancing academically, socially, and otherwise beyond what I ever expected. Pine Bush is a wonderful place for your children to grow and learn. The feeling of community will carry far beyond the classroom to create a sense of 'home' for you and your child.

Pine bush schools is now one of the best schools in the county. With the help of teachers and parents it has progressed and many students eventually get involved with the IB program offered in the High School.

We moved to the school district in 2003 when my son was in the 2nd grade. I absolutely love this school , teahers, everything. The teachers we have dealt with have all been very caring and attentive to my son and his needs. I will be sad to leave when he moves onto the middle school.

I have 3 children attending this school. It is overcrowded and if your child has special needs this is not the school for you. There is no Occupational Therapy room and it is done in the hallway where all can see. For the most part the teachers are seasoned and caring. They go on an extraordinary amount of field trips in each grade. The music and art department are good but there is no art room or music room so they must wheel it on a cart to the classroom. The lunch period and recess period is way too short--by the time the kids get outside they may have 15 or 20 minutes to play and that is not enough. Parents ar encouraged to be involved in the classroom up to grade 3 and then parent volunteers are usually not needed except for special events.

I have 2 children who attend PBE. They take time and effort for families to participate in their childrens' progress and activities. It's a very positive environment for children and staff members. The district makes every effort to educate us with any new curriculm or changes that may be happening in the district. The Parent Teacher Association is fantastic! They are very active in school and raise funds for the children to have new equipment or activities. I have a son who has been diagnosed with PDD, a form of Autism. He attends the BOCES Satelite program at PBE. The staff is helpful and encouraging. My children enjoy going to school!
