This schools pretty bad. I'd say its level with Longwood District. My son said theres a lot of fighting in the school between students.
i just transferred back into the high school, I'm a junior. everyone has been so nice and accepting of me since i arrived in the beginning of the year. I'm loving every second, and can't wait to go back tomorrow. the faculty and my peers are all extremely nice. ^^
Comseowgue Highschool is a good school. I am a junior there and it has its ups and downs. They just recently renewed the entire school. On the other hand the teachers are not so good. Some of them are not explaining things well which cause alot of kids to fail. So overall its not the greatest.
Its the worst school ever. Its more focused on its sports than it is on education.
i enjoyed all 4 years at Comsewogue. Like any school there are average teachers and great teachers. I dont recall any terrible teachers. i have had a good amount of teachers that have helped me improve my working ethic aslong as help me grow into the person i am today. i felt that the teachers did give a damn about their students and wanted them to excel to the best of their abilty. I also played four years of football. The sport programs are filled with coaches who know there stuff. They not only know how to coach the sport but know how to build important qualities in their players. Eventhough it was sad to see Dr. Rella leave the Principle spot. Mrs reph is an amazing replacement. Any areas that need fixing she is all over it. comsewogue is headed on the right path.....
I am alumni to comsewogue high school - I loved every 4 years of it. Great faculty and programs! mr. Karwoski's the man!
i go to comsewogue hs and i experience it every day theres not fights every day its a great school that if u choose to do well in u will and there are some classes that are jokes but on the other hand there are great teachers that will never be forgotten and will have taught many students life lessons and wil aid them in college as well its true the clubs arent great but the sports are excellent with great coaches who care soo much its unbelievable.
i think its a great school. many academic and athletic programs
comsewogue high school is a school that once was a very good school but is slowly deteriorating...fights are starting to happen every day and teachers don't care...athletics is good and so is academics but the students are starting to become bad
I tend to agree with the first 3 ratings. My eldest child is an honor student and excells, but the stories she tells about what goes on in school is enough to make the hair on my neck stand up. My middle child is the one cutting out, and failing. It is nearly impossible to get teachers to call home. Frankly, I don't really get the feeling that any of them give a damn! Yes sports are a very high priority in this district. I think the budget money should be spread around more evenly. More clubs and sctivities would be great!
