Moved here solely for schools. Interim principal, Meehan, is great. But there have been 4 principals in 3 years. Office ladies are anything but ladies. They do not greet parents or any guests upon entering office, make you stand there while they pretend you're not there. They are not caring or even sweet to them. Idk who is worse...Kelly Bates or Maureen Griffin. Seems they are competing for office hag if the school district. Considering moving just due to administration.

The school district is going down the toilet. Departmentalization for the elementary school and other programs. Kids can't read or do basic math in third grade. The superintendent has destroyed a great district.

My grandchildren get a good education, care, and a good time here.

Great school that gives each and every student exactly what they need to succeed in academics & life in general. A very small district (especially for LI) that gives personal attention to all the students. Everyone knows everyone else. There are a lot of programs for the students, including a pool.

Some great but some very mediocre teachers.Your experience will depend solely on that fact. Too many specials, not enough class time. Conferences only once per year.

The school and teachers are great. They are wonderful and are ahead of most other state elementary schools. The school has fun academic stuff for the children and the principal, teachers, custodians, and more are fantastic! I loved it.
