This school is wonderful,as also the principal and most of the staff.Class sizes can arrange from a class of 1:15 to 1:36.Our Lady of Sorrows offers a catholic education within a diverse community of students and teachers.Regardless of this my personal experience as a student in this school has left me frankly disappointed with the weak fifth grade teacher, this teacher has favorites within the class, often forgetting about the rest of the students making the 2,000 dollar tuition seem quite useless. With this teacher I can say she was defiantly a waste of learning as also she constantly uses excuses and other nonsense. The sixth grade teacher is very lively and truly does help and care for the students, benefiting the students in the long run.For the seventh grade teacher she honestly takes and makes the students terrific writers and thinkers. The eighth grade teacher helps the students prepare for high school making them more mature individuals for later on in life.
I love this school!, after a bad experience in a public school, this school is really great. Teachers care, staff care, the principal is really lovely and helpful, but strong with kids when is needed. I have 3 kids one in P-K, 6 and 8 grades, teachers are really good. last year the 7 grade teacher was kind of weak, but still ok. 4 and 5 grade teachers excellent. My pre-k girl loves her teacher. Students are really polite.
This a good school and instill discipline and education for your children. The things it needs more of is computer programs to help students who may have trouble in certain courses such as math, language arts, science and history. At least two teachers each for grades 5 through 8. The classes tend to get larger in these grades and I don't feel each student is gaining learning experiences if it's so large.
