an awesome institution for your child to receive a Catholic based elementary school education. The principal is fantastic. She is so hands-on. She knows the students and parent(s) personally by name. Very warm and approachable. The teachers are a perfect blend of "new and old school". Very experienced and nurturing, they are there to provide your child with superior learning. The parents are involved in so many aspects of the school. Fund raising, sports, attendance for all plays, concerts etc.; they are truly an integral part of the St. Clare community. The parish as a whole is strong and tightly knit. Your child can make lifelong friends who have common values and interests. My son is in the 7th grade and has been in St. Clare's since preschool and I have not one single regret. He is a better person for being a St. Clare's student. I am not going to lie... the curriculum is vigorous. It has also been referred to as "intense" by some. There is homework every night, tests daily, and projects throughout the year. To some, it may seem excessive, but this school truly prepares the student for High School. Their chances of being overwhelmed as freshman are slim.

I love St Clare because of the values they instill in our children. As a private school our resources are limited but the principals and staff are continuously enhancing all of the educational and extracurricular programs. We have dedicated teachers that really care about the children and continue to learn and grow as educators. Lastly, but certainly not least, St Clare is more than a place we send our children to school. It is a community, an extended family that my husband, children and I have been a part of for many, many years and will continue to be a part of long after graduation! .

Not too happy with school. Math program in upper grade is awful. My child was not doing well. In Highschool now & is in honors. If it was not for junior high school I would take my other child out.

Honestly, the school is OK. The downside(s) are: large classes, teachers who have taught way too long do not have the patience to deal with the overload of children in the classroom, mothers in the schoolyard at pickup who do nothing but gossip and complain..... very clique'ish'. Mothers carrying on because their children and their friends were 'split up' when they got promoted from year to year. Ladies, get a grip and a life. Let your kids move on. Its not about you, its about them... moving on. Little Johnny will not always have little Jimmy by his/her side throughout life. Let them grow up. You should try to set the example for them and grow up yourselves. The sports program is also very political. If you are not in the clique, you are not on the field or the court.
I am very happy wih the teachers and leadership of St. Clare School. I think that the parents need to step up and make this school outstanding. Stop complaining and put your words into action.

St. Clare offers exceptional academic studies in most areas. Most teachers my child has experienced are genuine in their intent on teaching religion instruction. St. Clare provides a great foundation to support and guide the children morally & academically for a successful future. Extracurricula activites are sufficient, the principal is experienced & available, staff is sincere & helpful. I do agree, however, the schoolyard cliques and gossip stinks. Lots of poor role model parents fighting with others over birthday invitations and playdates. Social is important, yes, but morals and academics come first. After all, this is Catholic school, ladies.

I am very happy with this school and the values that my child is learning. I also think the academic aspect is wonderful. The principal does a great job. Some of the parents need to get a grip and worry about what is important and stop gossiping in the schoolyard!
