Our daughter is a fifth grader and has been at TES for three years due to a move. The teachers at TES are hard working, dedicated individuals that want the children to succeed. There are many social, individual and family activities during the year that makes everyone feel involved in the learning process. I would strongly recommend TES to anyone who is thinking of moving to the area. Our daughter does not want to leave because of how great it is and we cannot say enough GOOD about what a blessing TES has been to our family.

I recently relocated from NY and have 2 children attending this school who are very different. Both of my children' s needs are in fact attended to everyday. The staff is courteous and more than qualified. I was told that the standards in NC were less than in NY, and I find that to be VERY untrue. In fact, I personally feel that if you have a problem with this school, then you are not doing your job as a parent. The principal and vice principal are always willing to help with any issue you may have. The school counselor is above and beyond my expectations as well. I am absolutely thrilled and proud to be a Tabernacle parent!

I have one child who just finished at Tabernacle and one in 3rd grade. Their teachers have been wonderful. My oldest is a GE student and Mrs. Tyndall did an excellent job of keeping him challenged. Mrs. Whitener and Mrs. Dunn have done a superior job with both of my children. I was afraid they would be bored if the classrooms were only teaching to average students, but they have kept them challenged. Not ''cookie cutter' at all. They have received very specialized instruction at the levels they are at. The new principal is excellent. I couldn't be happier with a public school.

I was extremely pleased with this school. My child had a tough time adjusting to the school and the staff and his teacher really went above and beyond expectations to reach out to him and make him enjoy coming to school and learning! The parents are very involved with the school and provide excellent support. As for the leadership, I thought the principal was excellent - he connected with the kids, cared about them and effectively worked on their improvement. We are excited to start our other child there this year.

I think that Ms. Kinley is the best teacher a child could ever have. She taught my grand daughter in 2nd grade and was wonderful. I went on trips with the class and came in for events and saw her in action. The children loved her and she loved them. I saw great success in reading and math. I saw a child who didn't care for school start to love school. I saw a teacher spend her time and money to make a class successful.

We were very disappointed in this school. All children are treated the very same no matter what their special needs are. Very cookie-cutter atmosphere. Also the teachers seem very burnt out and do the very least amount they have to do. Very, very poor leadership! I could not wait to take my son out of there.

I absolutely recommend Tabernacle Elementary School to anyone looking to enroll their child/children. The teachers are thorough and communicate frequently with parents. There are various activities, such as festivals, concerts, and skate parties to get everyone involved. Tabernacle places an emphasis on being involved in your child's education. The principal is a wonderful man. He is sensitive to the children's needs. He greets them in the morning, and is excited to see them. He always has a smile on his face. I love that my son has started school at Tabernacle, and that his brother will attend school there as well. I trust this school with my children's education.

One of the worst schools ever! All the children must be taught the same way in all the same classes. No exceptions are made for children with special learning needs.

Tabernacle is one of the most incredible schools. The staff is top notch - from the principal to the teachers. My daughter is in the second grade and has been there since Kindergarten. We are looking to buy a house soon and one of my requirements is that the house be located in this same school district so she can continue at Tabernacle. They have all kinds of functions from skating parties to festivals through the year for the students. They offer an on campus afterschool program that is extremely affordable. The pick up and drop off for parents who transport their children to and from school is just great. The principal is fantastic and very good with the children. He knows his students on a one on one basis and is someone they can look up to. You will not be disappointed with this school!

The faculty and staff at Tabernacle always want what's best for it's students. I have a 2nd grade student and he has always received the highest quality of education. The teachers and assistants have always provided for him on an individual basis and that is what every child needs. The safety of the students is always a high priority. They are always in check of who is in the school and if you are caught without a visitors badge you will be asked to get one. As for the principal, he is there for the children. He gets on their level and expects them to always work to his/her potential. He also expects all faculty and staff to give their best to the students. Tabernacle is an inviting and very clean school. The custodial staff takes pride in making the school the cleanest in Randolph County. Thank you everyone at Tabernacle.
