Costner Elementary School

The staff at Costner places students first at all times. They are a welcoming and supportive school that allows parents to feel comfortable when visiting. Their creativity gives students a learning experience that they would not receive from other elementary schools.

WE LOVE Costner! My child is a third grader and Mr. Rakoczy is her teacher. Each year we feel she has the best teacher yet! She has made the A honor roll all year up to this point. She really respects Mr. Rakoczy! We will miss him next year! Great teacher!!

My son had Mrs Willis and Mrs Lineberger last year and what a wonderful experience it was. Costner has been a great school and my son has really learned a lot.

I'm not only a parent at this school but i'm a pto officer and i couldn't have picked a better school for my child, the teachers he has had have went above and beyond for my child and want thank them for there hard work and dedication to the children and the school.Mrs beam and mr.Kinkaid you have one of the best elementary schools in gaston county, keep up the good work.

Costner is the only Elementary school I would want my girls to attend. The staff is more like family to my entire family. Mr. Kinkaid is so approachable and is willing to try anything that will better the children and their learning. The example that this school and staff provides its students is over and beyond.
