My daughter went to this school for 2 years and we are getting ready to PCS back to Fort Bragg and plan to put her back in this school. This is by far the best school my daughter has ever attend. It is the ONLY school that has been extremely open to parent volunteering and is very invested in the military child! I did like the principle that was there 08 - 10 but I do know a lot of people who didn't like her. They now have a new principle and I am looking forward to meeting her and working with her for the next couple years.

My 4 oldest children attended Holbrook and I have to say I love this school. The teachers were highly invested in their students all around lives. They helped to reinforce not just academics but basic life skills in the kids. They held lots of family-oriented activities and supported the nieghborhood. I did not care for the principal that started in fall '06. It seemed like she was trying to make alot of the parents feel as if they were beneath her...which is why i shied away from the PTA, but I supported and volunteered for all my children's teachers. Over all- a very great school and i wish i could drive my kids from across base to go back to Holbrook every day.

This is a great school if you have a 'perfect' child. If you have a child with behavioral or just regular kid-type problems, find another school. The principal does not know how to talk to parents in a professional, calm way. The guidance counselor, however, is excellent and has really been the only one so far to offer any real help.
