this school is not a school that i would have my child going to. mainly because the students don't feel right that they have to wear uniforms.

I had a respectful, well-behaved, straight A student attend this school. However, my student did poorly (emotionally) while at this school. The administrators treated my concerns about the school s environment with apathy and the Principle was extremely condescending. I cannot comment on the upbringings of the students that attend this school; however, I know from personal experience that students are not supervised or properly disciplined by the teachers and administrators. On a lighter note, one of my student's teachers taught wonderfully and the school consoler did what she could to help student that were trouble by the school s turbulent environment.

This is a great school. People must understand that whatever you send to school for the teachers and administrators to work with is going to be the outcome. Parents expect to send disrespectful, untrained children to school and expect the teachers and administartors to be able to teach, train and discipline all at the same time. The teaching and training of any child begins at home, you must set positive examples, have home discipline and training before sending your child out into the public because once they are out in the public they become a reflection of you ( the parent or gaurdian). Selma Middle and all the staff are great.

This school is a disapointment. My son is very thankful that he will not have to attend this school next year.
