Best school in yadkin county! Best teachers in yadkin county! Do I need to say more?
This is a wonderful school providing a wealth of opportunities to it's students. What a blessing to be a part of this program!!!!
I'm a student at the Yadkin early college and I absolutley love it. I have known Mr. Kimmer for several years prior to him becoming principal at the yadkin early college and I can truthfully say that there could not have been anyone better for this job. The Yadkin Early College has definatley made me feel as though I can do anything as long as I put forth my effort. I love being able to get to know the staff more one on one as opposed to a traditional high school. I think that the teachers being able to be aware of our academic progress due to the smaller setting is very helpful to each student who wants to make something of theirselves. I owe everything to this school and Mr. Kimmer especially.
I have been more pleased than I could ever imagine with how this school is run the teachers and their attitudes with the students and the respect that is shown to each and every student. Each student is treated as if they have value and potential to be whatever they choose to be and an asset to the community. Thank You.
This is my first year at the YEC and I absolutely love it! The smaller environment helps me with my grades and my relationships with my teachers! I greatly recommend this school to any upcoming freshmans!
My son attends this school and it is a great opportunity.. He loves going to school every day.
Small student body means closer relationships with the teachers and less peer pressure. Mr Kimmer is a wonderful leader to set an example for excellence. Great environment!
My daughter has excelled in the Yadkin County Early College program compared to her performance in public mainstream school. Her grades and her attitude have greatly improved. I see her becoming more of a leader as opposed to the follower she once was, and the smaller school lends to greater one-on-one relationships between the teachers and the students. I credit this school to the positive development academically and intellectually for my daughter.
