I used to think Bedford High School was a good and safe place to send your kids to get a quality education. That changed in a hurry. This whole school system is pretty much a joke anymore! Its not the teachers fault at all, its the complete carelessness on the students' part and parents failing to get involved. Never send your kids here anymore!!
this school system is uterly ridiculous there is not enough disapline in the schools end of story this cause the bad test score its not rocket science!!!!!!!
The faculty at staff at Bedford High School are actually excellent teachers and mentors. They are dedicated to furthering your children's education - the problem is the students. Many of them are from other districts, cheating the traditional district system and making Bedford look like a complete failure as an educational system. I graduated from Bedford and I feel like I was well prepared for my future at college and am currently succeeding in my engineering studies.
Bedford schools are great and I would recomment them to anyone.
Out and out terrible, no other way to describe Bedford! Now they are asking for more money! What a joke! I had to pull my kid out of the school system in the 6th grade, and now is doing wonderful. The reviews say it all, not too many people are happy with the school system.
I took my children out of this school 3 years ago and it was the best decision I have ever made. My oldest was picked on for being the only white child in class and her grades showed how she could not concentrate in school. The kids were out of control I would volunteer all the times and even the little kids were rude and swearing and talking back to the helpers. I was so done after that year. I am not prejudice but come on there is no control anymore.
Bedford High, was before a fairly decent school. Both of my aunts graduated and furthered their education but now, its very ridiculous. Being a student who has lived here for my whole life has seen it gone down the drain. The faculty and adminstration are just not doing there jobs and also it is correct there is a very limited amount of extra-curriculars besides sports. I dont think that the school is preparing me for college nor being out in the real world. It isnt as diverse as it was before and I think its ridiculous how the students began to take over.
The school system does not work with students. No respect between students and teachers.
This School, and the School District are terrible. The principal don't have a leadership with students. If I was you , I NEVER put my kid in this school or this school distric. The students are out of control and don't respect each other or the teacher. As I said I will think a thousand times to put my kid in this school or school district that have Bedford. Is a disgusting example for all and outsiders for the Cuyahoga County and Ohio. They should take immidiate action about what is happening to this school and school district.
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Teachers cant take control for some reason, half the time they act like they have no power! Get on it faculty and staff! The guy that said 'The course selection at Bedford is joke', is wrong. The school offers many good courses, and there is plenty to do if you are not a sports person. The downfall though is the faculty. Disgusting example of leadership.
