Recent Reviews
I am pleased with the staff and extra curriculer activities available at Union local. The only complaint so far is that there are a few teachers that give our children assignments in class to complete and then spend their classtime on the computer rather than interating with the students. Also the locks on the lockers are way outdated and do not work causing some students to get into trouble when it is not their fault for being tardy to class. Other than that the school seems to be staying right along the states average on standardized testing though the 8th grade is hindering the most because their reading requirement according to the state of Ohio has not been met and is below average. Overall there are some good teachers who do care and the staff as well as the Principal seem to care about Union Local.
its the best school around, challenging, understanding teachers, easy to get along with, difficult grading scale, and great area for your children
