I love Monfort Heights Elementary School. Their dedication to their students is overwhelming. They care about their students and work extra hard to make sure no child is left behind. They have good leadership and great involvement with the parents. My child loves this school. They provide me with anything I need to help my child succeed even when school is out. Everyone there make the school an excellent school.
Monfort Heights has a great music and academic program. Many Monfort Height Alumni get involved in Jr. Honor Society, Student Council, Student Senate, Show Cards, Marching band, Jazz band, Pit and many more. They have many suceding students that go on to have a EXCELLENT future. Some say it starts at home. It starts at home and school. The Music Program taught by John Kinney is excellent. He teaches K-5 Music and 5th Chorus, 5th Band, & 5th Orchestra. The teachers who teach here CARE about the Student. I love this school!!!
The Monfort Heights staff and parents are committed to the children in every way. This makes the school excellent and I wouldn't want my child attending anywhere else.
Monfort Heights staff are very dedicated to the education and development of the children. They work hard to involve the parents in the learning process at home. Since I have three children who go there, it involves a little extra time and effort on my part, but it definitely helps the children learn. They also do an excellent job in communicating with the parents.
Monfort Heights is an excellent school!!
I went to school here as a child, and now my children attend here. This is an excellent school and I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.
Last year my child had difficulties in school and when concerns were presented to the teachers, the teachers acted as though I was expecting too much from my child. The teachers gave me the impression that they thought I was the one with the problem. I knew my child could do better in school, but they kept telling me that her grades were average and I shouldn't expect more. I got no support from any of her teachers in that grade and at the end of the year, my child improved greatly only because we took the time to teach her at home as well. We're hoping that this year the teachers will be more willing to work with us instead of ignoring our concerns.
We have been very pleased with Monfort Heights. The teachers are extrememly dedicated to the children. The school is always clean and bright. It seems the principal could back the teaching staff more than she currently does.
Great elementary school Provides good safe learning environment Teacher concerned about the children
