I would rate this school a 3-4 out of 10. I don't feel a welcoming sincerity here. My son attended kindergarten and I'm changing him for his 1st grade school. I felt a sense of disorganization and little initiative from staff. Im a mother of one and really expected more for my son seeing this to be his qst yr of grade school. Although my son did learn moderately (with alot of my/family help at home)he didn't learn as much as he could and i will always feel this is due to lack of class management. There is a high ratio of samolians and they seem to take priority. Overall, my experience hasn't been so good here and I wouldn't recommend to any parent.

My daughter is in kindergarten. Her teachers are mrs gambil and mrs sprague. They give special attention to each and every student . My daughter is just five and she alredy started reading level 1 books .Thanks to them .The principal is also wonderful .

In 2010-2011, the Ohio Department of Education used the Value-Added Measure to show how much growth students made on the Ohio Achievement Test since the last school year. The state expects that student test scores will show an average year's worth of growth compared to test scores from the previous year. Ohio's Value-Added Measure is not the same as Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), a federal measure which uses different criteria.

About the tests


Ohio uses the Performance Index to provide an overall indication of how well students perform on its standardized tests each year. The Performance Index scores are based upon how well each student does on all tested subjects in grades 3 through 8 and 10. Schools and districts earn anywhere from 1.2 points for each student scoring at the advanced level to zero points for each untested student. The Performance Index ranges between 0 and 120, with 100 as the statewide goal for all students.
