The teachers are the best. Once again the school received an Excellent rating from the State of Ohio.
The schools in Doylestown are very good except for the middle school. Where all other schools have the zero tollerance for fighting and bullying, They promote it by being unfair in their dicipline. Some kids are above the rules while others arent. They need to replace the staff member who in in charge of this area.
I go here and we have a lot of options. We have an amazing band and excellen choir. This is the first school I've felt that the teachers cared i've gone to 6 other schools and i have to say this is the best. We may have a stupid superendendent but that doesn't mean we are a bad school. I'm proud to be part of this great school. I give this school a perfect rating!
I go here and it's grea we have a lo of options and we have a great band and choir. Most of the staff are great and you can talk to them about almost anythig
I go here and it is awsome! It is right in front of a beautiful forest and the extra curricular activities are great!
I agree 100% with the other review this school has not only let us down as parents but has done a grave injustice to are children. All they offer for children with special needs In my case my child is ADHD are F's on report cards and the promise of help. I two was persistent with my involvement and in turn I received lies and broken promises. I even had one want to blame the other district I came from for my child's learning problems. I have had tests done from outside and found they wasted 2 years of his life and the only thing My child got out of this school was low self esteem. My only mistake was not pulling my child out sooner. Now I pay a private teacher 5 days a week for 5 hour to teach him and he's thriving. The only other thing I have to say they would be better closing the doors, for the children might learn This school was a bad dream and thank God it is over.
Chippewa Middle school is underfunded and seemingly always on the brink of losing all extracurricular programs. The teachers teach to the proficiency test and don't seem to think outside the box of standardized testing when evaluating students. Unfortunately, even with persistence and tremendous involvement from both of us as parents, we find this school to be a disappointment. What is particularly vexing is the lack of intellegent leadership and support from the Superintendent, who seems completely unresponsive and unconcerned about issues that come to his attention. Having been in other districts around the country, I know that there are Superintendents that are interested in more than just a paycheck and the status-quo. Folks in this region are going to have to wake up to the fact that they are killing the schools by voting down levies and running prospective businesses away. The 'bedroom community' idea is a recipe for stagnation.
