Teachers and Staff there at Hunter Elementary are great. My daughter is in 5th grade there and has attended since 1st. She is very happy there and her grades reflect that. I highly recommend if you are considering a great area to move to and are looking at school districts, look here. our family had looked for months for the right mix of cost of living, taxes, schools etc and have found all we were looking for in this area when we moved here almost 5 years ago.
The learning here is getting more poor by the year. The teachers are strict so the children can only remember how mean the teacher is and don't remember any of the lessons. I think they are just not paying attention to the students enough. Also there are almost no extracurricular activities that benefit the students. The parents rarley help out there so they can't see how poorly the school is doing.
Very concerned administration. teachers are very good. They could use more resources though.
