I am a current sophomore at Green High School, and don't get me wrong I love the teachers and most students are good people to surround yourself with. I feel though that as the freshamn class changes the school gets worse and worse every year. I'm not being the typical upper classmen that hates freshman, but being honest. The student care for the school has dropped drastically, and if you plan to move to Green I suggest a change in plans. Your children will fall in love with the teachers if they have a passion for school, but if not they are just contributing to the downfall of Green. I am .... and I am no longer a BULLDOG. Losing faith in Green is something that has been happening, in my mind, since my freshman year.
I go to Green High School, and I hate it. You might think there would be drama at all high schools like there is at Green, but I've heard about other school districts around and the students there have minimal bad things to say about their schools.
I am currently a student a Green High. I love Green, and am proud to be a Bulldog. We take pride in our school, and work hard. It shows when we recieve the state report card. We've been rated excellent for the past couple year. I believe that we have been since 2001! So I love Green, and am gonna miss it when I graduate!
This school is very good, i used to attend there. Lockers at the High school are huge. Im 6'0 and i can fit in it! Much Space, Many Clubs, Good Teachers, Nice Classes. Downside is parking.
I think that Green has a great school system. Green offers many clubs and extra curricular activities for students to take part in.
Green High has some really good programs but some that aren't as good. The four by four plan is over kill and with the other requirements for graduation it doesn't leave a lot of room to explore new interest or develop current talents. Also block schedule; if the schedule happens the wrong way it can be difficult to keep up consistancy. There are some really great teachers but there are also some that play politics. The student seem to like the principal. The band and most of the sports teams have had impressive programs.
Green High School rather spend millions of dollars on a new stadium when Green really needs to improve the schools size. There are not enough lockers, classrooms, and parking spaces. Also block scheduling isnt a good thing.
I graduated a few years ago and was very pleased with the education I came out with. I would send my son to this school district in a second! Although a school and its employees do a lot for students...parental involvment makes all the difference in the world. I would encourage all parents to become more involved in their children's schools!
Green High School is a great school. They also have block scheduling which makes it easier to learn and retain what you learned.
Green was a great place to grow up and get an education. As a former student I went to college prepared and ready to continue what I learned at Green Jr. High and Green High School.
