My daughter transfered into Roosevelt and she is beyond happy and we are as well. This is an amazing school with amazing staff. Teachers, and administration alike go way out of their way to help students with whatever they need. The amount of classes and opportunities offered to the students is extraordinary. This is the best school in North East Ohio by far.

Both of my children have been privileged to an RHS education. I have never seen staff, teachers and principals so dedicated to the welfare and education of their students. They are truly extraordinary. The staff is available to students and parents 24/7 and the curriculum is truly excellent!

As a graduate of Roosevelt, I feel that this school is academically on point. When I entered college I felt prepared and ready to succeed. Unlike my peers I was able to get through undergrad in 4 years without academic setbacks.

I am a freshman at Roosevelt, and am going to graduate as the class of 2009. Before coming to Roosevelt, I was so nervous about how hard the classes were going to be, and how much work i had to do. Then there was the whole experience of Band Camp and marching season, and then I decided to join the lacrosse team. Overall I love this school, its so great and I'm definately going to miss it once it's time to leave. With over 100 extra-curricular classes and clubs, Roosevelt is one of the best schools in Ohio!

Roosevelt is... different. Most of the extras at this school are pretty useful. They offer many oppurtunities in electronics, and is constantly moving forward with time. Class can be at any pace for the student. Even if you excell beyond the advanced class there are areas that can be covered for each student. Each subject has the potential to allow the student to excell greatly, exspeccially in the math and sciences.

I currently go to Roosevelt High School as a freshman. It is a very good school, with many extra activities to partake in, as long as many class sections to choose from. I currenty am in a program called the Expedition Academy, which is a class of higher level thinking. We also go on backpacking trips with the school, for example this spring we are going down to Georgia to hike on the AT. It is going to be a blast! Roosevelt is a great school!

I graduated from Roosevelt in 2000 and went to Kent Schools from kindergarten. From December 2001 to November 2003 I served as a missionary for my church. The educational background I received at Roosevelt and in Kent greatly helped me there and in life. There are so many opportunities to learn and the diversity is wonderful. If you're ever thinking about coming to this area, the Kent City Schools and Roosevelt High School are an excellent choice!

My son has just finished his freshman year and Roosevelt and had the opportunity to be in a program called Bridges. This program is for students who have had problems in middle school and it promotes self-esteem, study skills and individual attention. We have seen a huge improvement in his grades and his attitude toward education. His teachers were all young and entusiastic as well as very helpful. I would highly recommend this program to others.

I have had two boys attend KTRHS. One is gifted and the other a struggling Special Ed. student. This has been the most amazing expierence for both of them. They both have had excellent teachers and a great experience. This truly is a 'family' for them. I would highly recommend this school for any teenager.
