Lincoln Elementary School provides everything that is key to the beginning of your childs education. Teachers at Lincoln use cutting-edge methods to teach your children the basics. Lincoln Elementary is also wonderful for young students who are advanced with various enrichment classes available including advanced reading, spelling, and Junior Great Books. The cost of housing in the Lincoln Elementary School District and Lakewood City School District is well worth it, because the experience your child will have in this school system is like no other.
Ms. Hazen is a fabulous principal who really cares about her school and the children. The teachers at Lincoln are very involved in the education of the students. I have a child with ADHD and have been ever so happy with the partnership they have provided me regarding his schooling and making sure he can meet his full potential!
Lincoln has offered great opportunities for both of my children in the Discovery program. Their teachers challenge them with a variety of topics and really use a full-circle approach, touching each topic with a part of the curriculum. One of the great assets at Lincoln is the strength and support of the parents. It is a tremendous family that make positive things happen.
Lincoln School is a true neighborhood school that is in safe walking distance within a diverse socio-economic community. Lincoln has an excellent administrative and teaching staff. We have 2 children attending and each of their experiences involving four different teachers over two school years has been outstanding. Teachers are very attentive to the individual needs of the student, dedicated to providing a depth of experiences and committed to providing the latest teaching methods. We saw clear progress in our student's academic growth throughout each school year. Parent participation is high as many moms and dads assist with extra-curricular activities and in-classroom projects.
