Great education, leadership and staff. The school is well maintained and teachers seem to have a genuine care for each student and their progress. Compared to other districts miamisburg has exploded but district seems ahead of the game with expansion. In 2 years one of few areas with no levy's proposed yet expansion, modernization and education continually improves---great administration
The quality of education at this school, in my opinion, rivals that of the best private schools in the state. I am endebted to Medlarview for the enrichment and development of my two children. Steve Homan ran a tight ship while there and provided excellent leadership, and I felt that the teachers went above and beyond in their personal interest. Thank You. Respectfully, Raymon Suglio.
In 2006-2007 was my Children's first year of going to Medlar View. My son was diagnosed was having ausburger syndrome, adhd and Mr. Homan and Mrs. Kline 'second grade' teacher kept me intouch with everything about my son. We love the school very much. I am going to keep all three of my kids in Medlar View.
My daughter attends Medlar View. The staff are very helpful and caring, and her teacher is wonderful. It was surprising to me that they have such a stringent security program, since they are a somewhat small school, but they are diligent about that matter. I have absolutely no complaints about this school, and I wish that we could stay here throughout my daughters' time in elementary school.
I've just moved here to the Miamisburg district 2 months ago. I have 2 children that attends school their. And I find that the school appears pretty decent, and in wonderful condition. My children really love it their. And when I first visted the school, the staff seems to be very nice, very proffessional, and helpful. They have great attitudes and seem to really care a lot about the kids their. I'm really glad to see that Dayton, and other cities in Ohio are really starting to take pride in their schools and rebuilting them, because some of these schools need to be upgraded alot. My daughter's made friends already. Although their really friendly. My daughter's look forward to going to school their everyday. So thanks for listening and hopefully this can really help other parents that's new to the area and that's looking for a good school for their children.
Medlar is a very nice new school. I have two children that attend there. We have great teachers and kids respond to them very nicely. The only bad point , is that when the school was built, the board did not study the growth rate trend of the area, and therefore built a school to small to handle the amount of students.
Medlar View is a great school, but then Miamisburg Schools are all great. The principal and teacher's at Medlar View really care about the students. I have had 3 children go there. I am sorry to say that this will be my last year to be involved with this school. The kids all grow up and move on but they will never forget the teachers at Medlar View.
I have two children who are presently attending Medlar View and love it. The building is new and filled with many modern conveniences. Miamisburg has outstanding teachers, so no matter which elementary you attend, you are sure to get a qualified leader.
