Seaborn is an excellent school if your child does not have behavioral disabilities. What I've seen is that this small school system does not have the education or patience to care for behavioral difficulties. For my children it is a great school, but not so good for others.
Both of my kids went to Mineral Ridge schools and I am happy to say that my granddaughter is going to be attending here also, It is a top notch school and the teachers are wonderful.
Excellent elementary school with hard working and caring professionals. Facility has been recently renovated and the gym is two years old. All programs your child needs are available at this school
My daughter is an open enrollment student. I am very happy that I chose to send her to seaborn. She has learned so much and she loves the teachers and the school. I really like the separate playground for the kindergarten kids also. The movie night was a fantastic idea. There was such a large turnout. I think the school did a great job organizing the drop off and pick up of kids after bussing was eliminated. I am looking forward to another year for my daughter at seaborn and would recommend seaborn to everyone.
Seaborn is a great school, my son enjoyed it very much. We no longer have bussing, and at first it looked as if it would be mass confusion, but it turned out alright. I like the way the school keeps the parents involved. They have some very committed teachers, who truly care about the students. Even after my son went to 4th grade, his 3rd grade teacher continued to encourage him. The teachers are also involved in outside activities with the students, such as skate nights, and even events that my son was involved in for boy scouts, that was not school related at all, two of his teachers showed up to support him. Great school, great teachers, great concern for the students!
