I want to first say they do not offer french, swimming, and tennis. This school is awful in every way from the teachers not teaching to classrooms being filled with trash. For the 2013 track and field the motto is "Run like you stole it". I am saying this because your kid doesnt deserve this.I have been there for four years and I can say that I wish my parents did not send me there.

Cardinal Stritch High School in the Toledo suburb of Oregon, Ohio is a great school for many students. First, the school has been one of the Top 50 Catholic High Schools in the USA for the past two years; hence their motto: 'Disciples First', and where 'school begins on Sunday'. They have a very diverse range of students in the school from widely-varied backgrounds. Each class has one mass per week. The staff is caring and concerned about the well-being of the students. As far as college-prep academics, I would rate them above average, and just below outstanding. It is a good school, smaller-sized, and everybody knows everyone. If your 7th or 8th grade child (or older) is interested, contact the office where they can be a 'Cardinal for a Day' and go thru a typical day with a current student - I highly recommend that. Thanks.

Cardinal Stritch High School, CSHS, is a very good school for your child. It is a college preparatory high school and prepares high school students for the challenges at the university level. CSHS was very good in preparing our three (3) children for the future as they all graduated from three different universities. One is a Chemical Engineer and graduated from the University of Cincinnati, an Accountant from the University of Toledo, and a Radiological Technologist with a Bachelors degree from Bowling Green State University. All three children did very well while attending the various universities with the one graduating with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, (all A s). This would not have been possible without a good foundation and education from a school that promotes higher education. The faculty and staff are excellent and are there to educate your children and to prepare them for the next level.

CSHS not only offers excellent educational opportunities in a small and personalized atmosphere, but it also offers opportunities to explore various clubs and sporting activites. The spirit of the students and faculty is overwhelming and ask any student or faculty what they think of the school and the response is unanimous. Cardinal Strith is #1!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
